NightOwl | People make a real difference PMTDR 2022

Viva Energy Australia hosted a gala night at Sandalford Winery in Perth, to mark the end of the 2022 People Make the Difference Real (PMTDR) Conference. NightOwl’s vision, mission and values align with those of Viva Australia in focusing on the people who build the brand. Dealers and delegates were recognised with Excellence Awards on the night. “The NightOwl brand shined bright,” confirmed Adam Adams, NightOwl Convenience franchisor.

The convenience brand expanded it’s reach into the fuel market five years ago, now operating more than a dozen NightOwl/Shell sites. NightOwl was recognized as the number one retailer in the Shell Australia dealer group. PMTDR Platinum Excellence awards went to NightOwl Berkely Vale (NSW/ACT) and NightOwl Bellevue (WA/NT/SA/QLD) for providing a consistently remarkable customer experience. NightOwl Hervey Bay (WA/NT/SA/QLD) was awarded a Bronze Excellence award, while NightOwl Redcliffe (WA) got the gong for Regional Silver Retailer of the Year.

The Australian Smiling Stars Awards were also presented on the night. NightOwl Convenience swooped up a fourth award for the night in the coveted Country Retailer of the Year category. These winners earn a trip to the International Smiling Stars event to be held in Budapest later in 2023.

Mr Adams made special mention of Bhargav Patel, NightOwl Western Australia area manager, and the NightOwl WA team. Racine Bartlett, NightOwl Berkely Vale manager, and the Berkely Vale team were also praised. “We are proud of our people who consistently deliver superior customer service, care and execution in store.”
