OwlGood community gets the nod from bp

OwlGood community fundraising program is recognised by bp at DARC 2023

NightOwl customers and franchisees have partnered with the Children’s Hospital Foundation to turn their small change into a big difference for sick kids as part of their inaugural OwlGood community fundraising campaign. Swooping across the more than 80 stores in the network across Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia, the program raised more than $36,000. This money will fund research, invest in equipment and provide support to children and their families.NightOwl’s Townsville location was the standout store for donations, contributing in excess of $6,000. “The team and community at Belgian Gardens were undergoing a renovation at the time, but committed to asking every customer to partner with them on the cause,” said NightOwl marketing manager, Glenys Tristram.

 

bp recognized NightOwl’s outstanding community service with a Community Award presented to the group at the bp Dealer and Regional Conference (DARC) 2023. Delegates were hosted at the Asahi Beverages Gala Dinner and Awards Night held in Port Douglas. 290 bp dealers and retailers joined together under the theme of “Today, Tomorrow, Together” – rather fitting considering the successful collaboration of the NightOwl network including the support office, franchisees and customers with a worthy charity partner.

NightOwl are keen to keep up this effort and are inviting customers to round-up their purchases in store* to continue to support the Children’s Hospital Foundation. “As an organization we are passionate about supporting and adding value in the communities where we work and serve,” said Ms Tristram of the OwlGood program.
